Peregrine has been a blessing for our family. We moved our mom into Peregrine Senior Living on Onondaga Hill when mom was 100 years old and diagnosed with dementia. We realized she was not safe to be left alone and searched for the right place for her to live. Mom is now 102 years old and has lived at Peregrine for almost two years. The staff and administration are welcoming, caring, and competent; they truly love our mom. She is so well cared for in every way. The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure mom feels safe and comfortable. The activities available for residents are engaging and delightful, from music presentations to bingo, games, bowling, crafts baking, and weekly Friday happy hours. Special occasions, holidays and birthdays are celebrated for mom and all the residents. Mom has resident friends who she eats meals with, and the food is appealing and and delicious. Mom receives her medications appropriately, and is checked on often. Her room is clean and lovely, with a large bathroom that is easily accessible to mom with her walker. The staff help her with showers, toileting, and activities of daily living. I highly recommend Peregrine for your loved one who is diagnosed with memory loss and dementia.

Thank you to Senator Ryan and his team for bringing together so many wonderful resources for older adults in our community! 🩵

As we Finnish off National Assisted Living week, we had a fun exciting week. On Sunday we did National grandparents Day. Monday was the Sock Hop at the '50s diner with a live performance after from Frank Rhodes. Tuesday we did the 60 Motown lounge and finished off with the performance from Jenny Horstman. Wednesday we did a boat tour with Mid Lake navigational team out on Skaneateles Lake. On Thursday we did games from the '80s with a live performance from Ted Holmes. A beautiful pianist. Friday was our glitz and Glam day. Where everyone got styled up by excellent people that donated their time. A big thanks to Mary Jo Scaia, Judy Santoro and Kelly Leblanc. Words cannot thank you enough. What an Excellent and Fun week we all had! ... See MoreSee Less
