Our Mission
Peregrine’s mission is to help our residents maintain a connection to themselves through their long-term memories, their families, and through our person-centered care.
Discover Our Peregrine Way Programs
We offer thoughtfully designed programs that can stimulate long-term memories and help our residents strengthen their connections with themselves. The Peregrine Way® provides benefits through 3 distinct programs.

Focus on Long-Term Memories
We strive to stimulate our residents’ long-term memories and help them maintain a connection with their unique identities. The activities we offer are based on stimulating the mind and helping people maintain their connections with themselves.

Encourage Family Participation
Strong networks with the presence of family members are an important part of our approach to supporting our residents. We encourage families to visit at all times, participate in group activities together, and even enjoy meals together free of charge.

Staff Training & Appreciation
Our dedicated staff receive extensive training in all facets of senior living to provide comprehensive care for all our residents’ needs. With their training and dedication, our team is ready to provide care that is fully centered on your loved one.
Community-Driven Events
In the heart of our commitment to fostering a vibrant and caring community, we empower our residents to lead in the selection and organization of various charitable events throughout the year.
These events are not only random acts of kindness but also cherished moments that bring us closer, knitting the fabric of our community tighter with each passing season.
The Alzheimer’s Walk
Additionally, we champion the cause of Alzheimer’s awareness through participating in the Alzheimer’s Walk, uniting residents and staff in a powerful demonstration of support for research and those affected by the disease.
Community-Driven Events
We believe in a vibrant and caring community where residents take the initiative to choose and arrange charitable events.
These events are hallmarks of compassion that also serve to unify and strengthen our community bonds.

Our Testimonials
Peregrine has been a blessing for our family. We moved our mom into Peregrine Senior Living on Onondaga Hill when mom was 100 years old and diagnosed with dementia. We realized she was not safe to be left alone and searched for the right place for her to live. Mom is now 102 years old and has lived at Peregrine for almost two years. The staff and administration are welcoming, caring, and competent; they truly love our mom. She is so well cared for in every way. The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure mom feels safe and comfortable. The activities available for residents are engaging and delightful, from music presentations to bingo, games, bowling, crafts baking, and weekly Friday happy hours. Special occasions, holidays and birthdays are celebrated for mom and all the residents. Mom has resident friends who she eats meals with, and the food is appealing and and delicious. Mom receives her medications appropriately, and is checked on often. Her room is clean and lovely, with a large bathroom that is easily accessible to mom with her walker. The staff help her with showers, toileting, and activities of daily living. I highly recommend Peregrine for your loved one who is diagnosed with memory loss and dementia.

Today's visit from a group of high school students was particularly noteworthy, as they brought beautiful roses and handmade cards for every resident in our building, showcasing exceptional kindness. Witnessing the residents' reactions to these thoughtful gestures was deeply moving, bringing tears to my eyes on several occasions. This experience underscores the idea that life frequently provides more than we expect. The students' visit brought smiles to the residents' faces, highlighting the genuine joy and love they shared. We are indeed fortunate to have experienced such compassion. We extend our thanks to the Syracuse Academy of Science students and Amy A. Ay. ... See MoreSee Less
