Our Testimonials
Peregrine has been a blessing for our family. We moved our mom into Peregrine Senior Living on Onondaga Hill when mom was 100 years old and diagnosed with dementia. We realized she was not safe to be left alone and searched for the right place for her to live. Mom is now 102 years old and has lived at Peregrine for almost two years. The staff and administration are welcoming, caring, and competent; they truly love our mom. She is so well cared for in every way. The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure mom feels safe and comfortable. The activities available for residents are engaging and delightful, from music presentations to bingo, games, bowling, crafts baking, and weekly Friday happy hours. Special occasions, holidays and birthdays are celebrated for mom and all the residents. Mom has resident friends who she eats meals with, and the food is appealing and and delicious. Mom receives her medications appropriately, and is checked on often. Her room is clean and lovely, with a large bathroom that is easily accessible to mom with her walker. The staff help her with showers, toileting, and activities of daily living. I highly recommend Peregrine for your loved one who is diagnosed with memory loss and dementia.

We had an informative Baking demonstration this afternoon up on Onondaga Hill. Our very own Dietary Director (Jessica), did a step by step approach on how to make chocolate chip cookies. She informed us on how to work on the butter and sugar first, then add in the leavening ingredients for the desired consistency. She taught us how to "fold in" the flour in small increments for the best dough. She then explained how to use your hands to properly flatten the dough in preparation for baking. She had a serving of cookies already made for us in advance and were able to enjoy immediately after the demonstration. Thank you Jessica for your delightful and delicious program!!! ...
